[Another kiss and he starts shuffling them in the direction of her cot.] Your perimeter is secure for the time being. [He drags his teeth over her lower lip this time.] I checked.
[He sweeps her up and onto the cot with him, unwilling to stray far from her lips. It's not the largest bed, but he suspect it's a far cry better than whatever it is they cram the poor infantrymen into.]
